So you think you want to learn to play the drums? Maybe you fancy yourself as a guitar player. Well, you have come to the right place. The instructors at the California Drum Shop are highly experienced, working musicians. Music is our day job. We make it a fun and exciting environment to learn!
Drums
For the past 25 years, we've cultivated percussionists to master sound, rhythm and tempo. We’ve raised our own competition (no kidding!), and we can even say that we have second generation students - that’s true loyalty from our musical family.
The lessons you receive will last with you for the rest of your life and help build stable life-long relationships. We love our drum family and friends, we teach from the heart, and best of all, we’re an organic local business, while supporting and being supported by the good people of the Lehigh Valley.
Each year we have a Christmas Pizza party, and there have been family and friends attending for the past 20+ years. No one loves their family and friends more than we do at the drum shop.
Guitar/Bass Guitar
Whether it's an acoustic or an electric guitar, they're are recognized as a primary instrument in genres such as blues, bluegrass, country, flamenco, folk, jazz, jota, mariachi, metal, punk, reggae, rock, soul, and many forms of pop. Our finely tuned teachers will be sure that you stay in tune as well!

Piano/Keyboard
A beatiful instrument that needs no introduction, we teach our students to understand the piano as the foundation of musical understanding and award them the ability to appreciate the beauty of this instrument. Being a percussion focused shop, it's only natural we include lessons with the 88 keys!
